This is one of the best and most caring kennels around!
Orestocks is a highly recommended small family run boarding kennels situated in over 3 acres of land on the edge of Tavistock and is run by Rob and Sally Hall together with groomer, Brogan.
Rob, Sally and Brogan want to ensure that all their furry friends have a great stay with them in a relaxed, fun, secure and stress free environment.
We are all dog owners ourselves and know how important it is for you to feel confident, knowing that when you leave their dogs for long or short stays that they are settled and happy, so we like to meet all new dogs (and their owners) prior to a boarding arrangement. They can come and have a sniff around and familiarise themselves with us and we find that this helps them to settle in a lot quicker.
Set in rolling country side, the kennels and the field are both fully secure so the dogs are safe when they sleep and play.
Orestocks is Open 365 days a year and is licensed and inspected by West Devon Borough Council and the dogs are fully insured during their stay.
Up to date vaccinations are required and proof must accompany the dog when checking in. Kennel cough is NOT a required vaccination, however we do highly recommend it.
(Vaccinations should have been administered at least two weeks prior to boarding).
All rooms have a sleep area and separate covered outside play area for the exclusive use of your dog during their stay.
We offer a delivery and collection service if required.
The price varies depending on location, however, there is a minimum
charge of £5 each way.
SMALL DOG: £12.50
MEDIUM DOG: £13.00
LARGE DOG: £13.50
GIANT DOG: £14.50
* for family dogs sharing a room: £1 discount per day per dog
Every guest has their own individually heated room and outside play area, and there are larger rooms to cater for families.
We are suppliers of CSJ dog food (www.csjk9.com) which we use in the kennels, or you are welcome to bring your own, which is recommended if dogs have special dietary needs.
We are happy to administer medications as required and have access to two excellent local vets in an emergency.
All guests are exercised in small groups on our field 3 times a day and then at 10pm go out into smaller runs for a last stretch of their legs
before being tucked up for the night.
All guests times are from 10.00am.

Dirty dogs are more than welcome at Orestocks, however there may be an extra charge to cover extra grooming time & procedures that may be required. Dogs will be given frequent comfort breaks so they are not on the grooming table for a long period of time.
Working alongside with the Animal Welfare Act, it is against the law to cause unnecessary pain and suffering to any animal. If your dog is severely matted, we recommend your dog is clipped off immediately.
The time taken to groom the dogs may vary. It all depends on coat condition, breed, temperament and behaviour of dog.

I thought I would give you a bit more info from the main man!! That’s me by the way!!
The best bit is when Rob, our pack leader, or Brogan, takes us in groups out onto the field and we play chase and he throws balls for us. He sometimes tries to play hide and seek with us but we always find him…
Email us or even pick up the 'Dog & Bone'... See what I did there?
