Orestocks is a highly recommended small family run boarding kennels and cattery situated in over 3 acres of land on the edge of Tavistock and is run by Rob and Sally Hall together with their team.
We love dogs
Rob, Sally and team want to ensure that all their furry friends have a great stay with them in a relaxed, fun, secure and stress free environment.
We are all dog owners ourselves and know how important it is for you to feel confident, knowing that when you leave their dogs for long or short stays that they are settled and happy, so we like to meet all new dogs (and their owners) prior to a boarding arrangement. They can come and have a sniff around and familiarise themselves with us and we find that this helps them to settle in a lot quicker.
Set in rolling country side, the kennels and the field are both fully secure so the dogs are safe when they sleep and play.
Orestocks is Open 365 days a year and is licensed and inspected by West Devon Borough Council and the dogs are fully insured during their stay.
Up to date vaccinations are required and proof must accompany the dog when checking in. Kennel cough is NOT a required vaccination, however we do highly recommend it.
(Vaccinations should have been administered at least two weeks prior to boarding).
We love cats
Rob, Sally and team have the purr-fect new purpose built modern cattery separate from the kennels. The modern design features individual digital thermostatically controlled heated rooms.
It has a sleeping area with a two level exercise area to ensure that their feline guests are safe, warm and secure. All rooms are double size with family rooms available for more than two cats.
Evidence of up to date vaccinations must be provided and not have been completed within 4 weeks of boarding. All Cats must be vaccinated against Feline Enteritis and Feline respiratory disease.
All rooms have a sleep area and separate covered outside play area for the exclusive use of your dog during their stay. All cattery units have covered individual runs with two level exercise area.

This is one of the best and most caring kennels around!
Had our Hetty groomed today! Fabulous caring people! True dog lovers. Will be back.

My poocheroonies love this place, they actually jump from the car and run right on in! What more could I ask for? Sally, Rob and Brogan are just fab!
This is the best kennel I have ever used,my dog Murphy loves to go for his holidays and I know he is having a fantastic time, being especially spoilt,he is only 6 years old and has gone blind but Rob and Sally are amazing and give him the extra care that he needs, would highly recommend to everyone ( as long as there is always enough room left for Murphy of course Hee Hee ).
Belle, our 5yr old chocolate labrador, has a great time here. We pull in the gate and she knows where she is and gets really excited, she loves it and Rob, Sally, Chloe and Brogan are great with all the dogs. Its lovely to know she is being so well looked after and is happy whilst we are away. We would highly recommend them.
Dolly our Doodle loves it here and we know she is being cared for and having fun with her friends.
Know I can go away and know Millie who is so special to me will be so well looked after and have cuddles if she needs one and of course her treats
